This list identifies bread wheats (Triticum aestivum) that are highly crossable with rye (Secale cereale).
The crossability of bread wheat with rye, and other species, are of interest for bread wheat improvement, and for the breeding of octoploid triticale. Two wheat loci Krl/krl and Kr2/kr2 are involved in the control of the crossability of bread wheat with rye.
