Cassava accessions were planted in Palmira and assessed for sugar content in flour, of importance for the industry. The results obtained indicate that the accessions held at the genebank vary in terms of sugar content. This subset represents the 10 accessions with the highest percentages and the 10 accessions with the lowest percentages of total sugar content. These 20 accessions were selected by making a histogram of the distribution of total sugar content values of 481 accessions out of the 6,643 total accessions in the cassava collection.
