This study aimed to enhance the marketability of Bambara groundnut by characterizing its phenotypic diversity across five agro-ecological zones (AEZs) in Benin. Researchers surveyed 514 farmers and collected 188 seed samples, which were subsequently reproduced under controlled conditions and analyzed in the laboratory. The findings provide valuable insights into the crop's variability, which can inform strategies for crop improvement and market development.
