Passport data for some of the most beloved Ecuadorian snacks is now available in Genesys!
Over the course of 2021, the National Department of Plant Genetic Resources (DENAREF, Ecuador) uploaded the passport data of their maize, beans, potato, sweetpotato, and cassava accessions in Genesys. Now, taxonomic and storage data on 5106 of these accessions is available on the portal.
DENAREF maintains a total of 28,000 accessions for a wide variety of species at its various research stations in Ecuador.
