Agro-morphological characterization of Eleusine accessions in Homabay 2023
Finger millet is a nutrient-dense crop that plays a great role in food and nutrition security. It has important adaptive traits for climate change such as drought tolerance. It is valued by smallholder resource-poor farmers because it performs well under low-input farming systems. A total of 439 accessions were characterized for various agro-morphological traits using the IBPGR descriptors in an unreplicated trial.
