Baobab fruit characterization
Baobab fruits collected in 2014 from Tanzania were analysed at the ICRAF Genebank in 2016.
Morphological traits were evaluated on dry fruits starting with intact fruits which were later opened to extract pulp, fiber and seed.
The fruits and seeds were characterized at ICRAF Seed Lab.
