Remarks
Medium sized, wild bamboo 4 to 4.5 meters high and 1.5 to 2 centimeters in diameter, with edible shoots. Culms nearly solid with very small central chambers; used for walking sticks, whipsticks, etc., but not for weaving. Nodes prominent; branches, two at each node, unequal, and leaves small to medium sized.
