Remarks
Edible bamboo of medium size. When grown on fertile soil, culms reach diameter of about 2.5 to 3 centimeters and a height of 3 to 4 meters. Nodes or joints rather prominent, larger in proportion to the stem than is usual. Sprouts ready to harvest about the first of April.
