Remarks
"Lemon x pummelo?" (donor's notes). Photo appears more pummelo-like than lemon-like. Of 36 seeds, 5 germinated. A nucellar seedling (RRUT 84) selected using ISSR markers ((work performed by <a href="http://facultydirectory.ucr.edu/cgi-bin/pub/public_individual.pl?faculty=422">Prof Mikeal Roose</a>, 2001); one zygotic seedling was retained (RSD1998040SG001). This seedling was considered to be of interest when evaluated on 01/08/2009. It was therefore propagated for maintenance under protection as RRUT 424. Fruit fro this selection was white. somewhat dry, and not too sour. (RR Krueger, 01/24/2010)
