Characterization data of NPGRL yard long bean accessions (2009-2010)
This dataset contains morphological characterization data of yardlong bean accessions conserved at NPGRL. NPGRL regenerates and characterizes plant germplasm to support the Institute of Plant Breeding activities and other researchers. The descriptors used for characterization are based on the IPGRI descriptor lists for mungbean (1980), lima bean (1982), Phaseolus vulgaris (1982), cowpea (1983), GRSU characterization datasheet for adzuki and the "Guidelines for the conduct of tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis" (UPOV, 2008).

Date of planting of the crop accessions
This is the unique identifier for accessions within a genebank, and is assigned when a sample is entered into the genebank collection
This is the old unique identifier for accessions within the genebank
