Want to learn more about C&E datasets and subsets in Genesys? Sign up for the webinar!

Genebanks use Genesys to publish datasets with trait (characterization and evaluation) observations on some 200,000 accessions, and information on core collections, reference sets and other interesting types of collection subsets.

Some of the experiments date back to the 1970s, like this lentil germplasm evaluation provided by the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA).  More recent observations, like this Musa collection characterization data from Bioversity International Musa Germplasm Transit Center (ITC) include over 45 different morphological descriptors for bananas.

If you are interested in learning more about subsets and datasets in Genesys, join us on Tuesday, 24 May 2022 at 14.00 (CEST) for a webinar with Matija Obreza, head of genebank informations systems at the Crop Trust. The session will be followed by a Q&A session.
