We are pleased to share the results of the 2025 Genesys User Survey!

Between April and June 2025, we received 120 anonymous responses from users in 32 countries, representing genebanks, universities, CGIAR centers, research institutions, NGOs, and the commercial sector.

Highlights from the survey include:

• Positive impressions: Over 85% of respondents rated Genesys as good or very good.

• Most valued features: Access to passport data, filtering tools, datasets, and data downloads.

• Top suggestions for improvement: richer trait and image data, enhanced search (including AI tools), clearer germplasm request workflows, mobile-friendly design, and more multilingual training opportunities.

We sincerely thank everyone who took part in the survey! Your feedback will help guide the next steps in strengthening Genesys as a global portal for plant genetic resources.
